RONALD V. HOOD

Attorney Ron Hood grew up in the small city of Grambling, Louisiana, as the younger son of a Baptist pastor. Ron earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from his beloved alma mater, Grambling State University. He then matriculated at Loyola University New Orleans where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1996. Ron was also admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in that same year.

Ron began his professional career as a law clerk to the Third Judicial District of Louisiana under the Honorable Cynthia T. Woodard. He also taught Business Law at Grambling State University for two years.

In 1999, Ron relocated to Georgia and began practicing Criminal Law. He founded his law firm in 2001 and since that time, he has handled thousands of criminal cases successfully.

Ron is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Cobb County Bar Association, and the Georgia Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. He is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Ron is married to Antionette and they have three children. He and his family are members of the Elizabeth Baptist Church, where Ron serves on the Deacons Ministry.
